Well the day did not start good i over slept forgot a couple of rods and left my lures home argh!! I felt just like turning around when i got to my buddys home luckily he had hid rod . The fishing was slow my buddy caught the one and only fiah a nice looking brown about 18 inches. We tried bottom bouncing and nothing .We stayed till1230 and then it got to hot .I was waiting the big wind DC gets about that time and nothing .I was going to troll cranks for eyes with the wind but that did not happen . It was good to get out though guess i did not miss much at willard i was going to go there today but glad i did not make the 2 hour drive.
Sounds like a tough day. At least you weren’t at work!
It was pretty tough especially when you dont have your go to lures. But one thing about Dc i alwas catch a brown there and it seems its always the first fish of the day.
