Just thought I’d share the info. Ice is 5" thick in the rainbow bay arm. Clear solid safe ice as well. first 10’ has a couple inches of slush. If the noise of the ice scares u I’d suggest staying at home it was really loud. Didn’t see any other signs of drilled holes where I was. There was a lot of open water around the walsbhrg boat ramp FYI. Didn’t make it past rainbow bay.
I would be very careful where you walk. Most of the bay just froze over saturday night.
