Went fishing at Deer Creek sunday. Fished from 1:00 to 6:00 pm. Started out fishing for smallmouth on the west shore. We missed a few and my buddie caught a nice 3 pounder. After a few hours of not catching many smallmouth we decided to troll for Walleye. I managed to catch one that was around 25 inches. It was caught on a Rapala taildancer in 20 ft of water. Slow day out on the water.
Sounds like a good day fishing. The walleye must of was fun to pull in. And good size also.
Didya get any water temperatures?
52 degrees in the deeper parts of the lake. 55 up in the north end of the lake.
