Trolled for a few hours this afternoon and picked up several 12-14" rainbows. I knew they would probably be shallow so I ran planer boards out to each side with floating Rapala’s. I also ran downriggers with a luckycraft pointer behind a small silver dodger, one at 8 ft’ the other at 14’. The majority of the action came on the 8’ rigger and pointer. Seemed like I had more success about 100 yards out from shore. Little windy at times, but not too bad.

I fished from shore on that same day and only caught 2 in 4 hours. It was a slow day from shore. I was there 2 weeks ago, and caught 20 in 4 hours. The boaters look like they were doing better.
I was out sunday morning with a friend. I was the idiot rowing, til i got my motor started.. Caught 3 in 4 hours. Wind made it hard to fish from my little boat. Slow compared to thrusday when we caught closer to 20 fish in 4 hours.
