Headed back to DC Sunday AM . nice and peaceful out there before all the yahoos show up. last trip ( tuesday night) all we could find were tiny smallies, well we tried a few new areas and baits and found some nicer ones.
we boated over 40 bass yesterday , and lost easily that many . we even landed 7-8 over 12 inches…largest going 15.25 inches! ( all smallmouth, all released)
…a few of them were spitting crawdads upon hitting the deck. best size ive seen to date when fishing here.
