YUBA WAS DANGEROUS THIS FRIDAY. I CANT IMAGINE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TODAY. dID MAKE IT ON THE ICE BUT FISHING WAS SLOW. CAUGHT TWO 12 INCHERS AND MISSED ONE. I WON’T BE GOING BACK TO YUBA UNLESS THE DEEP FREEZE COME BACK IN FOR A GOOD WEEK OR SO. TO BAD YUBA WAS HOT. MY FISH FINDER READ THE WATER TEMP WAS 38 DEGREES THATS WAY TO WARM FOR ME. PRAY FOR FREEZEING TEMPS SO THE ICE WILL COME BACK INTO THE LOW LAND LAKES.

Danggit, I wanted to go to Yuba this weekend with the kids but with the rain and possibly weak ice I passed it up.
When did Yuba ice up this year? I thought it was just icing over Christmas since it was pretty warm or has it been iced for a while?
Here I was thinking I was ready to start a couple months of ice fishing and maybe the season is winding down.
I will be there on wednesday and on ice with my 4-wheeler, I was there last saturday and had to help a few off the ice to land…
