custom trolling motor mount for bowriders?

Just got a new (used) 2006 Blue Water Escape, and I am trying to get it set up for fishing. I want a trolling motor mount that isn’t in the way when the trolling motor isn’t on the boat. Anybody got pictures/ideas… I am thinking of designing a custom mount made out of high strength plastic..
Anybody want to buy a 1997 Seaswirl 180?

Bow or transom?

Bow…

I have seen all of those. They don’t work well on a sloped bow..

Worked really well for me on a bayliner I had that had roughly the same style bow yours does. Have a couple other friends using them on ski type boats that don’t seem to have a problem using them on sloped style bows. You can fudge getting it level with spacers if that’s what you are worried about.

The main problem I had with any fiberglass boat and mounting a trolling motor, it seemed no matter how careful you are, eventually the fiberglass will spider from the torque you put on it over time.

I’m working with a custom plastics guy and a fiberglass boat repair guy on a design idea. If it ends up being feasible, I will share it here. I want minimal remnants left when my trolling motor is removed from the boat.

How about something like this?
