Taking a couple of my grandsons fishing tomorrow. Would prefer to not travel too far to find some safe ice. Any ice reports from Echo, Lost Creek (roads plowed to dam?), Holmes Creek (any Xmas day reports on ice conditions?), or Pineview (any Xmas day reports on ice conditions?) Rockport, or Jordanelle Rock Cliff Arm?

I’m afraid not many of the waters you posted are safe! Causey, and Mantua are the closest to the Ogden area!
yesterday Pineview had lots of open water. I had a friend tell me lostcreek had enough water that he put his john boat in but there was a bunch of it capped as well. thats as much I can tell you! Hope it helps.
All this snow will make for really really slushy conditions. Might not be worth the trip with kids…as you know wet boots = cold feet, and cold feet on kids makes for a miserable trip.
