Well, I went out yesterday afternoon about 2pm (not my normal fishing time, but hey, Ill take what I can get). I brought my buddy Cody out there and we did some paddling and fishing til about 7pm. I wont divulge too much info [;)] but I was slaying the smallies. Didnt catch a single largemouth. Here’s a taste of what I got- :sunglasses:

I ended up landing 5 smallies over 14" and 2 under- Biggest went about 18". Awesome, hot ass afternoon.

what were you using? Your a brave man going out there in the afternoon like that. Ive been thinking of trying out Calville Thursday or Friday.

:sunglasses:Hey Whizzle, way to go on the smb! Nice to know that they will bite in this heat. I have yet to find them this year. All I get are their cousins and the stripers. I’ll try again after the 4th.
