<br /> My buddy Rob and I got up there today to go after some perch. <br /> The perch are getting very fat right now! We dragged worms along the bottom slowly and caught 10 perch or so. We had 7 TARP perch!! 2 of them going close to 2lbs. I did have one on that was well over 2lbs and probably a state record, unfortuantly it popped off at the boat emoBang emoBang emoEnforce It was HUGE!!! Those bigger perch put up a pretty good fight, especially when using light gear. <br /> We slipped in some bass fishing too, caught quite a few spots today. The float n fly wasn't getting anything, so I started trying a bunch of different stuff. Eventually put on a small jig and started getting bites with it. Rob did the same… he ended up catching a nice 3lber on it, it's in the pic of me holding it. Think he's camera shy emoLaugh <br /> By the time it got close to dark the bite shut off. We had a good couple hours on the water, those perch were huge today! They are getting very fat right now and can be fun to catch! emoToast
