Hey tiers - was going to tie up some Copper Johns and discovered that I didn’t have any partridge feathers, any suggestions for a substitution?
any hen feather would work. or use some CDC for a different effect.

CRYSTAL FLASH Seriously. It works.
I have been tying scud hook Pheasant Tails but Copper Johns will work I bet.
I picked up some Hungarian Partridge feathers today so I’m all set. Oh yes the pattern I have calls for Flashabou so I used Crystal flash instead.
