Does anyone know if/when they are doing another “carpapalooza” (bow fishing for carp on Utah Lake) this year? I’d like to go, but I guess I’m out of the loop.
Carpapaloza is going to be held at cutler, benson marina on june 7 from 9am-3pm. With lunch at noon sponsored by Camp Chef.

You’ll probably have better luck than you would with 500 people out after the same fish. Go a day ahead and you’ll do a lot better. J
For what it’s worth the carp were going crazy at Willard when I was there last week, and I even thought to myself that if I were to be a bowfisherman I would have slaughtered them. Basically they were all over the shoreline.
Yup the spawn is in full swing so there are tons of carp to chase now about everywhere the carp live. Big ones too. J
