I noticed the Little Bear River stream bed is dry this week. Anyone know of water levels in Porcupine now? I was thinking of going after some Kokanee over the 4th but thought I’d check here and see if the launch areas were down to the chocolate pudding muck yet. Many Thanx!
I haven’t been up there since April, but I would be surprised if it was way low. It was really high back then. I would imagine you would be ok. Good luck if you go!
Neveronsunday, me and a friend have been up to Porcupine reservoir a lot this year. No worries about launching your boat , just remember the easiest launch is to go back the creek area. BTW the water levels are fine , don’t forget that place is WAKELESS speed only.
AFD - Many thank you’s for the information. I’ve always just dumped it in at that steep little ravine but maybe i’ll give the road at the spring a try this time. Wakeless is one of the reasons I thought it might be good for the 4th, besides an itch to put some salmon in the smoker.
NOS. i have been up there every weekend for the lawst 2 months its dropping 5-10ft a week, it will be easyer to launch at the revine launch now. as long as you have 4wd you will be fine
