I agree, The Deuce should not happen on the Ice. But if I have to Pee I Pee!!! If I am fishing from the boat I pee in the bail bucket and then wash it out in the lake. There is only so much politically correctness in me!

I am with you gal. I can go out on the water all day when it is soft, but being a woman and on a pontoon, IF I have to go, I go to shore.

I agree totally with packing a container. There are some inexpensive easy to use ones for women, but MEN should be using them as well. Plus it can be used by men that isn’t quite as obvious as standing on the bow of a boat, and yes I see you guys all the time when I am out on a lake.

I can agree that when pissing outdoors, try not to do it in plain view of the public, and if you are close to a restroom, use it. But there is still no way I am walking more than 2-3 minutes each way and I never fish that close to the main areas.
I will also agree that duking on the ice is also not cool at all. I had to last week and even though we has walked nearly 2 miles from the pull out at the point, I did walk to shore. The one time I had to, it wasn’t going to wait and it was one of the worst ice fishing experiences of my life. I would have gladly walked 20 minutes in that situation if I could have.
Now with all this awesome imagery in our minds, can someone please post an awesome report with awesome pictures, OF FISH!

Exposing your self to children is a sexual crime. Like you said say, your on your bow peeing in the lake a family with there kids floats by, the kids all see you and all your glory. The family tells a ranger and we all know how stories get exaggerated from one person to another and well now you have to explain the judge why you had your junk out for kids to see … I mean wouldn’t it make more sense to just drive or walk to the shore then peeing right in the lake… save your self a citation and a possibly a criminal charge.
I will take your post as a compliment about the size of my junk. If any children are going to claim to see my junk while I am peeing from the bow of my boat, they are either going to be within 30 yards of the boat or my junk is bigger than the trout we are catching (and I catch big trout). Since I would never pee within 30 yards of kids, you must think highly of my junk.[:P]
So lesson is, lets all pee responsibly, and if you have some huge junk, don’t let it all out when taking a pee in the great outdoors. Lets pee responsibly.

This has got to be the funniest thread I’ve seen on here in a while. If you gotta pee the lake is your toilet in my opinion, taking a dump, on the ice is a different story. Not the kind of Browns I’m lookin for. If you’ve got the skill to send a sinker to Davey Jones locker through a 6 inch hole then more power to ya. And to all you that are whining about the peeing off the boat, what about the 15 dead cows upstream laying in the river and also the fact that most wastewater ends up in your resivoirs anyway. You’ve got a better chance of getting cooties at the pool than swimming through Jacksonman’s piss. And if your whippin it out in front of kids then your ass should be in jail

What I find interesting is the fact that peeing or pooping in/on public water is illegal!!! But these guys are so tuff I bet when they spit it bounces.

This brings up something I thought at least the state parks should do.
Put a few of the self contained chemical toilets out on the ice maybe near heavily used fishing areas. Put them out after solid ice is formed and take back off before the thaw. They could be placed on a sled for easy towing by a snowmobile or ATV.
If DWR wants to promote ice fishing as a family sport then this would help a lot in getting the wives and daughters, and grandkids out on the deck.
If they have to up the cost of a Park pass or fishing licensce that is a small cost for having some better conditions.
I know this wouldn’t completely solve the problem, but it would help a lot. I know it works pretty good at Powell having the floating bathrooms to either use directly or to dump porta potties, etc..

Me ? I dont think the DWR reads this forum ive always been for police our selves and with the whole HB141 issue I know for a fact they dont or they dont give a rats arse LOL
Oh on a side note I tried out that new furled leader you gave me worked like charm from now on I like all my nymphing leaders to be that stiff. Ill post pics in the other forum later.
