… my only question about this or any other organization asking for contributions is how much of each dollar contributed is actually used for the programs or services they are claiming to support??

Before I contribute to an organization that is a charitable write off, I contact them re your question. Here is their e-mail address. info@caltrout.org Sorry I don’t recall what their response was to my query.

Yes. I signed up several years ago at the Fly Fishing show held annually in Ontario, Ca.
I sent them an email asking how the money is distributed but have to say that your being a member is a strong recommendation in itself.
