Not a great day but better than my last two outings. <br /><br />Started the morning up the lake near hiawassee. Found some bait suspended over grass in about 16 FOW creek bed. <br /><br />Tossed in a marker bouy on the bait and dropped the trolling motor. The water right beside the boat just blew up with bass chasing baitfish. Bass were literally jumping out of the water all around the boat. By the time I got a rod out of the locker they calmed down. <br /><br />Tossed a plastic swim bait in the area and it was hit as soon as it splashed. Ended up with 6 fish on that spot and 3 nice keepers. <br /><br />Bite got slow for us so we moved and picked up a 4lb'r in a blow down and a couple more under 15" on shaky heads. <br /><br />Then it got super slow. <br />Tried shallow…deep and everything in between. Went back to the same spot we started and it was loaded with bait. Tossed a trap at a school and it was hit hard but lost it before I got to see it. As usual it felt like a good fish. <br /><br />Anyway. Got to lip a few fish. Good day for me. <br /><br />Greg
