Has anyone been to Birch Creek lately? What are the conditions of the ice if there is any?
Most members who fish there don’t like talking about this lake at all. Even if only to update on conditions.
If you want to know, I hate to say it, but your best bet is to drive out there.
You’re not likely to have open water until mid-April at the earliest. This year might be right for that to happen.
I’ve seen it iced as late as May.
