Big Cottonwood River - Arrived at 2pm and fished till 4pm. The fish were extraodinary spook easy today at the upper holes I like. Had to belly crawl to get 1 fish. The rest I so much as snapped a twig or sat indian style and they ran for cover. My twin caught 1 there also.
We hit another place and it was easy pickings. I caught 5 and my twin caught 2.

We ended the day with 6 (me) and 3 (ETDT). We lost 15 total. I was using a gold blue fox size# 0 and tried a pnther martin in rainbow with no love. My twin was usng a CD 3 rainbow rapala. The temps were cooler than the valley so it was a nice escape.

Sundays are good for me. Do you hike with snowshoes? Are you capable of 3.5 miles one way over 2,500 vertical feet?

Wanted to do a 5 mile one way hike too if you are interested.[;)]

nice cant beat that creek thats 10 mins from alot of people. some beauty brooks there too.

i always find Big cotonwood fish spook easy. glad you snag a few :slight_smile:
