BFT Home page poll

Ralph, I’m sure most everyone uses favorites or bookmarks to save the pages they go to the most but I was ask to check the reasons and I think they now have a very good idea why members rarely use the home page. Thank you and all members that have replied to this poll, great info. Do you remember this page?

Just having a little fun (at your expense). Your skin is way thicker than mine Curt.

I go to other states to PM others about the fishing their for my trips to the big fish spots..

??? I have no idea what you are talking about, why would you have to go to other states to send a PM[crazy].

I had to check the “I never go to the home page” cuz it is closest to the correct answer for me. I went to the home page maybe 3 or 4 years ago when a coworker first told me about BFT. Once I got into the Utah forum, I stayed there. My PC at home is defaulted with a short cut direct to the Utah Fishing General forum. I have looked around on the BFT pages of other states and it’s my opinion that the Utah site is the most utilized, and friendliest one I’ve seen. Seem many of the other states have either few postings, or all posted by the same 2 or 3 people. I found that rather strange on the forums for states like Georgia, Florida, California. All states I have lived in and fished in fairly extensively (not as extensive as TD for sure, but quite a bit  )

So, I guess I’m just more comfortable with the way I use BFT.

Anyone planning on being on Willard this weekend?

To find names of other fisherman in other states and good lakes that have big fish or fish I want to go after..

bassrods probably means he goes to the other states’ forums to find the names of people to PM about their bodies of water.

Just a thought…maybe it would be a good idea to have the fishing tips boards linked among the different states? For example, have a freshwater gear board, freshwater tactics, saltwater gear, saltwater tactics…then have the freshwater boards be the same boards for all the landlocked states and add the saltwater boards for states with ocean shoreline. Maybe have surf-fishing and deep sea fishing boards linked for those states also?

Not only to find out about the water and what kind and size of fish it has..And on many trips I get the person that told me about the lake to go fish for the day in my boat or theirs..
It’s a great way to find other fishing spots in other states..
