Berry pink kokanee filets... 3 July

Got out and enjoyed our freedom…

Launched in the dark and hit the main triangle. Starting hooking up immediately. Ended the day with 2 limits. Landed twin 21" toads.
One D/R stacked 10’ apart and the other at 5’.

Set the balls at 40 to 50 down with pink RMT billed squid and orange Christensen spinners both tipped with shoe-peg and pink maggots trolled 1.3 to 1.5 mph. Water temp 60° to 64°.

All 4 rods produced well. Nice to get into the bigger fish after fishing Jordy last week.

God Bless America.

Great kokes Scott, thanks for the nice, detailed post. How long did it take to catch your limits? This is the first post I’ve read this year where limits were caught in main part of Strawberry.

Awesome job and nice fish, glad to see some good action on the pond

What a nice way to prepare for big 250th! Looks like you had a great day out on the Berry. Very nice fish! Great report and thanks for sharing. The Kokanee fishing like the weather is heating up at lots of lakes right now! Time to get out and catch them.
Thanks for posting!
