Hit the Berry today with a buddy. Fished for about 4 hours and caught about 20 or so, all within the slot. We were nailing them in the morning, and then it slowed way down around 11am. Mostly used green and white whatta crickets tipped with minnow Beautiful day up there. Fished between the marina and mud creek. Had a great time.
Thanks for the report. How thick was the ice in that area? Heading up there on Saturday, just wondering if I should bring the snowmobiles or plan on just hoofing it.
I would take your sleds i was out last week on a four wheeler there is plenty of ice
Actually measured with a tape measure and it was exactly 6 inches thick.
