Any recent reports on the fishing? We are heading out there tonight by the refuge to try for some catfish.

Well fishing sucked, all we caught was a buzz and a couple small cats. Didn’t make it out to the refuge because I remembered you couldn’t have fires out there, so we went over to Corrine and fished by the treatment plant. Slow!
Went out again to try my luck, finally found a good spot with a few fish. First I caught about 2 small fish then I hooked into a nice catfish, finally got in after a 15 minute fight on 6 pound test line. 31 inches 10 pounds!

During the day but I was in a boat and it was raining.
