I’m heading to Bear Lake for the first time next weekend with some buddies. None of us have fished it before. We will go after cutthroat mostly but we will certainly try for some lake trout as well (I have sincere doubts about catching a lake trout.) I have researched the lake heavily and got mostly conflicting information at best. I was hoping some of you wise sages of fishing could help me out a little.
Any recommendations for bait or trolling methods for cutthroat or lake trout? I’m not asking for any secrets. I would just like a point in the right direction. I’m not too worried about catching some cutts, but every lake seems to throw you different surprises. Any advice would be appreciated.
