We hit the water at 7am my brother caught the first one about an hour into fishing on the east side of the lake in about 20 ft, and I caught mine about 2 hrs later in front of the marina in 20 ft water using a repala. It was slow and cold but it is getting better over there as far as I can tell. My fish was 24" long and 14" girth and about 7,8 lbs. We didn’t get measurements on my brothers because the fin wasn’t fully clipped so we was in a hurry to get it back in the water, but I’d guess it was about the same.
Pretty good ones! I like that second one…

Great looking fish!
i’m headin over first thing in the morning if i can get one half that size i will be happy
Out of curiousity how did they taste, I have cought them but never kept one. From what i have read they are the same kind of cutt thats in strawberry.
They are the same kind they originated in Bear Lake.[;)] The larger ones taste nasty the small ones under 16" not bad.
They taste Awesome! Try one!
I got one this morning about 18 inches I kept it going to give it a try tonight.
after eating that fish i’d say the bigger the better.
Did you catch it throwing from shore? How did it taste?[;)]
