So one of the goals I’ve had this year is to fish in a bass tournament in a local pond like DC or Jordanelle. I don’t really want to join a club, I just want to show up the morning of the tournament, pay my entry fee and go fish. How would I go about this? I do have a boat, but I’m not too particular whether I fish on someone else’s boat or mine.
And how do the tournaments work? Are you always paired with a non-boater? When it comes to scoring, does your day’s catch figure into the person’s score with whom you’re fishing? Any help would be great. Thanks.
