I have been having fun finding and fishing the urban fishieries that are on my way home from work latley but I don’t know anything about the Jordan River. Has anyone done it? DWR says that there are bows and browns in there. Never knew it…
Right On, same here. I fished the Jordan over around California Ave last year and caught White Bass, Crappie and of course Carp, But I saw Trout in there.
I want to go fish it bad, just not sure of good spots.
Maybe someone will chime in!
Or I could go explore 
there is a good spot by willow pond. just north of willow where the bridge crossess the river. I have caught carp and one little rainbow there last year. all were on a joes hopper in late august. you can catch cats just about anywhere you can access the water. I will get out friday and see if I can do any good.

5lb brown just practecing his cast,he was very surprica as i was. For a moment we were both thinking golden trout but boy where we surprice.
