Went up yesterday. 6” of ice, but it was an ice rink. So we didn’t use the sled. Looks like a pressure ridge too to the north. We fished West Bank. Started in 10fow caught about 15. Nothing too big, moved to 18fow about 1pm and got into them. Caught another 30 before we left at 2:30. Only a few over 2lbs. White atomic teaser with orange tail seemed to be the ticket. I did lose a pole. ?. Txt me if you catch a fish with a blue BeaverDam rod a Pflueger reel. There are some big ones in there.

There were about 6-7 other groups. One lad walked across and fished the east side

Do you eat the trout out of Chesterfield? Last time I tried them there they had a mossy taste to them.

No, we are just catch and release. I’m the only one in the family that likes fish, so I make it easy on myself. ?

Thank you, great report, I’ll likely fish Chesterfield after Christmas. How deep of water where you guys fishing in?

Started in 10’. Caught 15. Moved to 18’ about 1pm and really got into them. But my experience there has been best fishing 8-12’. But if you don’t see any on the finder or it slows down. Go deeper until you do. You can usually catch some if you find them.
