Went on Friday looking for trout, only caught one. Talked 2 some people looking for bass they said " They had been fishing 4 2 hrs and had 2 very good bass!
Went up a week ago with float tube and fly rod. Several hours produced 6 nice fat trout; 6 nice fat bass; and 4 good sized crappie. Still out there for others to nab again.
We went up on 6/20 and fished the no wake area on the south end in the afternoon and only got two bites. Flipped grubs, tubes, roadrunners, crankbaits, drop shots and even a worm under a bobber. Water temps were around 60 degrees, and the wind sucked. I did mark a lot of fish in the flooded stick up area at the inlet, but had only one hit there[frown]
My father in law went there a week ago and caught nothing, but a coworker told him that when they went there, they were catching em trolling power bait which I have never heard of anyone doing[crazy]
