i am looking for a inexpensive surf rod for bait casters/ multipliers. it doesn’t have to be a super light rod but not overly heavy. i am hoping in the 40-60 dollar range but a little over is okay and a little under would be awesome. i will take ANY suggestions and i mean any. and by the way it will be for bass, blues etc with surface lures and chunks of menhaden and eels.
You can go online to the Okuma site. The Okuma Halogen is a very good rod for this. You can pick up a 8’ 2 piece baitcast rod for just under 50 bucks. I have a few of them just for different applications. The combo is the better deal at that price. Okuma Halogen 400L is the better one for surf.
