Have any of yall used the Garcia ant-backlash bait casting reel? What did you think of it? Do you think that C5 MAG-X would be better it has that magnetic brake to fine tune outgoing spool friction and lessen the possibility of overrun when casting lighter baits. Raypaw

Have to agree. There is no quick fix for backlash. Just lots of prcatice to become efficent. I still have quite got the perfect cast down, but I’m getting better.
I Bought it cause it was buy one get one free, i like them but i dont use the anti backlash i run the line through normally. the easiest reel i think you can use is a shimmano cardif. i have one and love it i can cast small worms with no weight without a backlash. 109.00 is not a bad price either.
