      Saturday, May 18, 2002 thru Sunday, May 19, 2002 
                     6th Annual Anglers on Wheels

            Anglers on Wheels is an annual wheelchair accessible
            weekend event that includes a free barbecue get-together on
            Saturday night (compliments of Grady’s Bar-B-Q and V & V
            Sausage) and a free 4 hour fishing trip Sunday. (am or pm)

                         This trip is for disabled fishermen and their friends
                         or family members. The fishing boat, The Island
            Queen II is a converted ferry boat that is completely wheelchair
            accessible and covered to keep off the hot Texas sun. Bait,
            tackle, and deck hands are available to help you, free of charge.
            You are welcome to bring your own tackle and ice box on board.
            Space is limited, so groups on the boat are restricted to 5
            members or less. Fishermen are responsible for their own
            transportation and overnight accommodations. Bus
            transportation is available for fishermen in the San Antonio area.

This is time sencative so I am binging it back to the top of the board for all disabled anglers to have a chance at a free saltwater charter. I was on this charter about 6 years ago. That day the bite was poor in the bay so they hit the gulf and all the anglers onboard had a blast. I caught my first anglefish that day.
The captian and crew do what ever is neaded to make shure all have a great experionce.
