7 species at Utah Lake

Launched the boat just after 9 this morning. Fished the north end of the lake until about 2:30. Started off losing two eyes right at the top within the first half hour[frown]. Was not too fast on the action in the morning. But, just before noon, it picked up. I ended up landing 7 different species today. 1 channel cat, 1 mud cat, 1 carp, 1 LMB, 13 bluegills, 22 white bass, oh ya, and 1 walleye. What a great day to be out.

Here’s a few of the pics.:sunglasses:

DUDE that is a heck of a day. I missed out for sure. Next time bro. Nice job on the multi bag. That is one of the better reports I have heard of this year

Ya, if you would have came… we wouldhave probably caught every species in the lake.[crazy]

Dude that is a NICE bluegill. I’m glad to see bluegill that size coming out of Utah Lake. Glad to hear you got 13 of those delicious little buggers. Sounds like a good fish fry to me…[;)]

They are still there to be caught… They are good, but the only thing making it to the stringer today was Mr. Eye.

Great job! You had a much better day than we did yesterday!

Sounds liek a good day. I got 4 different at the knolls today. Carp, Channel, White bass, and mudcats.

Thanks for the post! It really keeps my attitude towards the mud puddle positive! That bluegill was a monster! Thanks again for posting such a successful trip

Yeah, nice gills. I have got to learn how to fish that place.

GOOD JOB!

What was the water temp?? Anyone?? Thanks!

Someone else may be able to help you with the water temp, but my fish finder was having issues. (buzzing noise, and no display[:/])

We were at AF boat harbor today and read 55 degrees in the harbor, and we were also in the Battle Creek area and got a reading of 60 degrees
