We did a little fishing today, or should I say the kids did a whole lot of fishing! Deer Creek was hot!

yeah the kids had a ball! and the benefit of being a grandpa is their parents had to clean them! hahahaha but they were starving for a fish fry! they just called me to tell me how good they were!

That’s what makes it all worthwhile. Seeing the kids have a ball fishing is what its all about. I belong to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah and had my little brother up there yesterday trying for perch. Didn’t get a one but the little had a ball watching the fish TV. His first comment was “Man, this is more fun than watching video games”.
All the @@!%^##? perch would do is swim up & maybe “kiss” our jigs or bait & swim off. A pretty nice brown came by & took his bait but he was just a little too quick on the trigger & missed him. Did see a bajillion perch all day though.
sorry to hear ya didnt get into the perch Tom. I was hoping you guys would drop into a honey hole. After I talked to you I almost threw the tax stuff in a box and headed up.

Well you know how I am all about Perch. I couldn’t go out there and not fish for Perch at the same time. That’s to show all the Perch hounds how dead it was fishing for the Perch. I will be back after some Jumbo’s next week. I went and had 6 copies made of the one picture and one copy for the oldest boy that is laying down to the side of the Trout. I am just dying to hand them each a picture. So they can show their friends. Life is good.
Where did you fish, how deep, etc for the bows. I’m heading there sat again and would like to get some trout. Thanks again for the perch last year btw. You are right, they are good eatin
