Heading to the berry tomorrow, just wondering if anyone can tell me what the conditions on the ice are and If i will be ok taking a four wheeler across the lake??? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
How much snow is up there??
I was up ther two weekends ago and the snow was 3-5" and was real solid no problems walking through it. did see a fair amount of atv’s and sleds on it.
If you were every going to drive an ATV across the ice at Strawberry, now is the time. Conditions are perfect; 10 inches of ice & about 2-inches of snow on top. There are many well beaten trails going across the ice.
You always need to be careful about traveling close to the bank & finding a warm spring. Stay in the deep water & on the beaten path as much as posssible.

just got back from the berry. just about no snow on the lake at all. 4 wheeler will be great. the fishing is pretty slow though. later chuck
