i’m gonna say 29". But the tip of the tail is just barely there so if the judges say 28 1/2 I’m all right with that. I’m hoping to have some 30s pushing this one off the board later this year anyway.

Thanks all. It is my best catch here in Utah. And man was it a fun fight. Hopefully I can find some more like this one this summer.

I didn’t mean to have the Hollywood look going on when the pic happened, but it is the only one that turned out with a standup view of the cat.
Hi Forest-- I can answer that one for Gus while he is at work. The fish weighed 11 pounds. Great fight accompanied by that music we all like to hear… the buzzzz of a smoking drag. We thought he would do better than 30 inches when first netted but still a great cat… and, of course, he is still out there to add inches and pounds.
Yup, I got it okay. Kind of embarrassed because I remembered I entered his first cat under my name because he could not log on to the new BFT. My mistake, thanks for sorting it out.
