I caught about 30 or more largemouth this afternoon ranging from 1lb to 3lb. This was the largest. The flooding here in NE Arkansas has messed up the spawn around here now because even the ponds are up by 3 or 4 feet, the rivers are up 10 to 12 feet.

Here is an example below: this river is usually about 30-40 yards wide with sandy banks you can walk along. It looks like the freaking Mississippi river now. LOL.

Keep on fishing guys. It’s only May. Tight Lines!

Making a sign today bass season has started caught 12 bass in 2 days trying to get my camera to work, there are 500 pictures on the memory card, its mine and my sister’s, so i dont know if ic an delete a ton of stuff. But i am alos getting a measuring tape from my dad’s workarea. Caught a few 2-3 lb fish yesterday, can’t tell if they are small mouth or large mouth. The mouth was a relatively nice size. Can small mouth and large mouth live in the same lake?

They can both be in the same water, one of my favorite waters to fish has both in it. There are several sites on the internet that explain and show pictures of both smb and lmb and the differences between them. Typically, a smallmouth will have vertical lines
(perchinski)

and a largemouth will have a horizontal line.

There are a few defining characteristics of each but this is the most simple.

You guys are so lucky I didn’t have my camera with me yesterday, I brought in two 4-5lb largemouth bass.

All I need to know is how big the bass is to beat, over 8 pounds I’m out of the competition, its rare down here for bass over this.is this information ok for you to releas to us,tell me in a private,I don’t cheat, you can tell by all my pics I’ve worked so hard for…a bass a day keeps the doctor away…Paulpro…its good motivation..I like that..man, its no fare if you guys have 10 lb bass everywere ,it should be per state ,is it?is it for biggest bass or numbers?or just a beautifull bass,?

may I see a pic of last years beauty,I can’t wait..

Thats the answer I’ve been waiting for.I hope you remembered to use the 443 sign in pic.11lb,wow nice job, keep up the good work,as for me you guys inspired me to try and catch a nice bass,2 weeks ago,I caught a 6 to 8 ounce baitfish on a tiny lure,I let him swim around a bit,I never saw what it was but something grabed him,and straighten some hooks and broke others as well,I went back a week later,I saw a fish play on the bank,it was that big bass,he was hiding in the weeds, got him on a 4" batfish,5 and 3/4 pounds I’ll post it anyway, but it looks like you won again,I can’t wait to see your fish,or any other 10lbers,anyway, I hope you catch that world record bass,…Paulpro knows fishing like Bo knows baseball…[fishin]I could’nt believe how strong this bass was,I let her go,she made a good run to about 30feet,then jumped in front of the boat.

Well, it looks like the official leader so far is still only a 17.5" fish. I’ve also caught several over that mark, but I’m always too lazy to put them on the tape and take a picture. [:)] Whether or not bytebull really has a 26" or not is irrelevant. The fact remains that the pic hasn’t been posted yet. I guess I need to quit being lazy and actually post one bigger than 17.5". Expect to see one in the next couple of weeks. :sunglasses:

Bring it on. Most of mine this year are dinks. [:/]

Sorry if the pic sends you to yahoo,my buddies new cam,I’ll get another copy from my nephew.Heres my best for this year so far at my lake, before I knew of 443 I had caught a 6lber at the glades,I’ll post it sometime after I get it sent from Alfreds cam, this guy was 23" even, tape measure, was a little short of the nose,I’ll settle with 22",3/4 nothing less,I’ve got two more pics while holding her up,showing lake in the background, lake was flat calm, also you could see my bowmount conversion in a shot, good luck, did I take the lead, who’s winning now?Paulpro knows fishing like Boknows baseball,O,she was 5lb,10 ounce on my rapalla scale.

The size your talking would put you in the lead, but when I click on your upload, it sends me to my email. [angelic]

Damn it,I’ll get a picture today with my bmx friend with the fancy cam,I’ve never won at anything in my life Paulpro, caught him on live bait,I used an invasive species called a Myan cichlid, this is the last remaining cichlid of the Mayan civilization.Sorry but I guess the picture has some kind of anti hacker spyware so nobody can read my computer,I can’t even send it to my Picasa.Pic came out good though,I was afraid the #'s on the tape measure wouldn’t be legible.I’m using a law stick, even got a law stick sticker which has even larger #'s,

Paulpro .. when composing a message here you will see a box right above the area you are typing. You can upload any image from your harddrive right up to this site. You don’t have to uplod it somewhere else and make a link to it.

Excited to see your images of the 23 incher.
