So… I think I’ll finally get my rear in gear and go fishin’!
Last summer I went to Kaysville ponds. There were LOTS of catfish…the only problem, was that they were all about 6 inches or so - not worth eatin’. Does anybody know if they’d now be big enough to actually fillet?
I am going on Friday morning. It’ll either be Kaysville or Bountiful ponds. I have to be in the main part of Bountiful city at 10:30, but could do fishing before that (maybe start around 7?). If anybody wants to meet up with me and keep me company, please do!
I suppose Holmes Creek could also be a choice…but I was bad this winter/spring and didn’t get in better shape like I wanted, and that hill just kills me
Eh, nevermind
My 2nd (paying) job in Salt Lake, which I only need to go to once or twice a month, decided that Friday morning is my day to be called in.
Maybe next week!
Oh, and I also forgot…there’s Farmington pond, too. A few years ago, somebody showed me a “secret honey hole”, and now I want to go see if it’s still any good. I’m willing to show it to anybody else too (kind of hard to explain the location in just text), as I seriously doubt it’ll be hurt with a few extra fishermen…it was LOADED with fishies (also first time I saw an albino rainbow trout with my own eyes…pretty nifty!)
Glad to see you are out and ready to battle again. Too bad work is interfering with your fishing (I hate that) Now that mother nature has settled down a bit its time to get out and fish. But darn. my work interferes with my fishing time too.
Yeah, I was just about to PM an invite to UL to you when I saw this. How about Mon. or Tuesday?
Mantua was lousy the other day with the T-storm, but should bounce back in a day or so of sunshine.
Well of course today I get told to work Monday instead.
SO! I am available Monday after 1 P.M. and all day Tuesday… I hope!
PM sent, since I dunno if I should flood the public board with a bunch of little back-n-forth replies
