First Ice.

The best ice I found was 3 to 3.5 inches. Some places we walked on were around 1.75 inches and you could see the ice sag and hear it crackling a lot. We didn't go in those areas. As you can see, we fished the shady part of the lake. The sunny parts were not fit for walking. I think we would have caught a lot more fish if we could've moved around and explored, but this was the only portion of the lake "safe" enough to walk on.
