Is it too early to talk Henrys Lake Ice off?

You don't want to see Henry's ice come off till the week leading up to opening day. If it comes off early, hatches start, the fish get active early and a lot of times when this happens it's no good on opening day. A couple of years ago I was using my downrigger on Henry's (Yes believe it or not, on shallow Henry's) and the cable was hitting submerged ice and turning my little boat sideways, big pieces of ice!
