In answer to your question on how much to buy, that is dependent on how long and how good the fishing is. If you land on top of a good school it won't take much to get them in. But if your searching for them, and/or you are knocking them dead you will go through a bag very fast. In order to keep them frozen solid, we use dry ice or rock salt. It will keep frozen solid as long as you keep the ice from evaporating/ melting. Have fun, can't wait till June when i head down that way!
