I've used mine for a couple of years after I opened it and I can put the first coat on it and after 3 hours it is dry enough to add another coat. I have put 3 on it in one day and I generally do 3-5 depending on the guide and how thick or thin I apply the epoxy. Also you can apply it with a nylon bristle brush and if you drip any on yourself or a work surface it will clean up with warm water if you catch it before it dries. Once it has dried completely it is waterproof just like 2 part epoxy is.
