epoxy depth finder transducer in a yak

You can use epoxy but one thing you have to be careful is that most two-part epoxy generates heat, some enough to deform the plastic. I used to use it until I found an adhesive called Lexel. It works great and stays flexible unlike most two-part epoxies. If you cut out a piece of closed cell foam in the shape of your transducer and glue it to the hull it'll keep the adhesive from spreading out all over the hull.
