Is this a good rod ?

some of the old 202 modles were the greatest. as a kid in the last sentury I restled many a 15-20 pound carp.

the barby poles are similar to what you picked up and have in recent years been reported to have pulled in record cats in excess of 40 pounds.

I would target bass gills, perch, crappie with the new modle, I dont know if I would trust it to do battle after battle with carp....
