Ron, that ramp is where I put in at this time of year. When the lake drops to summer levels (usually July or August), they put a cable across it. You could still launch a pontoon boat even then. And yes, it is at Access Area #1. The locals call the place "Akies", as many years ago there was a boat rental in that area run by a guy name Akie.
