CJ, if you are fishing spoons/spinners in the Clearwater just roll 'em along till they are 45 degrees downstream from you then swing them - and let 'sm hang like a fly at the end of the swing. In the North Fork, you cast up and across, let it sink then retrieve, using what current is present to help impart action.
