Fished it for an hour before dark fri ( 17th) below the heise bridge and landed 5 in an hour, all on Adams, lots of fish started feeding on the surface right before dark and for about 45min after.
Sat night we did the byington up river run at 5 and the fishing has slowed quite a bit in comparison to a few weeks ago. Still managed a dozen fish chucking drys. All on 20 BWOs. Ole man started chucking raps and yanked a couple of nice browns off of riffles.
The brown fishing should start picking up. Time to dig out the big streamers and relearn how to chuck and duck. Also watch the water levels, they dropped it on fri, it generaly makes the fishing slow for atleast a day or 2 after. In the next month it will drop pretty regular if they run it similar to past years.
