I know some guys that czech on the provo. I think they made a you tube on it too. They are fellow guides at Falcons Ledge.
I personally might be doing some sort of czech technique or another on the weber as well. My nymph fishing technique is VERY hybridized. I think if someone saw me nymph fishing they would probably laugh. Switching to and from long and short leaders/tippet. Its all about the dead drift and getting those flies down deep like said before. If my flies are not weighed down in the tying process I will usually use more split shot weight than most. The fish are also hanging out at the front of the runs and it takes a quick sink to present the fly to those fish. But I must say for me, the most commonly used setup that I use is the dry/dropper. Even with small flies like parachute adams, PMD's and BWO's. The dropper on those ones is usually size 22 or smaller, but on the provo you get so many lookers that they cant resist the little droppers that stare them in the face as they reject the dry fly.
