I had the greatest fishing experience ever!!! I got off work about 5:30 am and decided to hit the Lower Provo River to practice my roll cast and maybe get lucky and hook a monster. Lol
It was pretty windy at first so i started the day untangling my line over and over again but once the wind died down i was able to put my flies to work and,
WOW!!! Let the fun begin. Strike after strike from around 9:30 til about 2:30 I caught 23 fish. 22 brown trout and 1 nice cutt. which slipped out of my hand while i was trying to get a pic, swam around my legs, and headed back out to deeper water snapping my line!
I know rookie mistake. Which reminds me Does anyone have any pointers on jumping over your line in knee deep water Lol
I never imagined fly fishing would be this much fun. Oh and fly of the day was a Bwo cripple i also caught several on the bwo and the adams all size 20.
What a great day! Can"t wait to do it again.
I have been trying to figure out how to download pics from my phone to the sight as soon as i do I'll post some.
