Good Deal?

I wondered about removing half the floor and making it kickable (without a standup platform, seems like a simple mod and they seem close enough to the scadden model that for over 300 bucks cheaper you could have just about the same thing. But then again, I wonder about something smaller anyway, so it probably isn't for me even though I am 6' tall, it just seems like a 9 footer would be too big?
