Make sure you have a spare spool of line in case you have a bad backlash. Last Friday I snagged a bush behind me and had a birdsnest so bad that all I could do was start cutting the line with scissors and replace the whole thing. Thats the only time I have had that bad of a backlash. If I wouldn't have had a spare rod it could have ended my fishing for the trip.

But I'm sure you know all about the bait casters if you have done alot of bass fishing.
